Anti aging skin care treatment guide

The typical anti aging skin care guide comes from a cosmetic company. You might think they are honest and they are likely to believe in their anti aging skin care treatment, but they are primarily interested in getting your money.

One of the best anti aging skin care guides that I came across was created by a dermatologist. The original was not easy to understand, so I’ll give you an abbreviated version and cover the highlights.

The recommendations he made were not in “laymen’s terms”, but the anti aging skin care treatment he suggested had a lot of common sense. Contrary to most of the things that you see on TV, the guide mainly focuses on taking care of the skin’s health, consequently preventing many problems and improving the appearance.

When a dermatologist writes an anti aging skin care guide, it’s a very rare event but it should be the norm because it makes total sense. Dermatologist in general do not believe in the efficacy of a topically applied anti aging skin care treatment. They as much as doctors are inclined to focus on drugs, injections and other more mainstream medical ideas instead of natural solutions.

A doctor named Albert Kligman believed that if you take care of the outermost of the skin’s layers, then the health of the inner layers will be protected. He recommended different treatments for different conditions. But, for each ingredient, he believed that the manufacturing process should be very specific, or the product would be ineffective. That’s why you often find anti aging skin care treatment that is ineffective. The ingredients may be right, but the manufacturing process is wrong.

In his anti aging skin care guide, Dr. Kligman recommended some ingredients called peptides. They are very small particles of amino acid proteins found in the skin. These amino acids he recommended are hyaluronic acid and keratin.

Companies have tried to use keratin, but the peptide chains were rendered inactive by the manufacturer. Only “Functional Keratin”, which is created using a patented process, has active peptide chains and so encourages the production of collagen. It also reduces wrinkles and fine lines, from the “outside-in”.

One of the benefits of hyaluronic acid is that increases firmness of the skin, but it is soon annihilated in an enzymatic process that occurs in the skin’s layers. The best anti aging skin care treatment contains an extract from Japanese kelp that blocks this enzymatic process, and balances of hyaluronic acid common rise.

Grape seed extract is another ingredient that Dr. Klingman endorsed in his anti aging skin care guide, because grape seed extract counteracts the damaging effects of free radicals. Grape seed oil has also the ability to effectively moisturize the skin and creates an invisible layer that traps moisture in. When the skin is moist there is less inclination to crack or wrinkle.

The Dr. suggested also that anti aging skin care treatment should contain special compounds that change the light’s reflection, so that a person sees immediate results. This is basically for psychological gain. Many people become very depressed with their appearance.

Functional Keratin has demonstrated to have the ability to reflect the light, but there are two main reasons why it is a better choice. First, it improves the skin’s health and second it is not just a cosmetic like other compounds. A complete anti aging skin care guide would be extensive and include a lot more information, yet this can be sufficient information to lead you in the right direction.

Killer Tips For Living An Acne-Free Life

For some living an acne-free life may seem like a mere impossible dream. However, there are a few tips that can help you to get rid of acne fast and hopefully make it stay away forever.

But, before we can tackle the acne problem it is important to understand what causes acne. The main culprits are oil and bacteria.

As we’re changing into adults these hormonal imbalances will cause your skin to secrete a more oily sweat.

Your sweat is saturated with bacteria your body wants to get rid of, and when it mixes with dead skin cells it clogs the pores, causing them to become inflamed and forms a pimple.

This leads directly to our first tip.

Tip 1: Don’t pop your pimples or scrub them harshly

By popping pimples when you see them you are making acne spread, not getting rid of it. So, if you are in the habit of popping pimples, stop, don’t do it.

Have patience and in time they will pop by themselves.

Use a good exfoliating facial scrub for your skin type to get rid of dead skin cells, you will irritate your skin if you scrub it raw.

Tip #2: Avoid Oily Foods

Eating too many oily foods could cause your body to try and get rid of it through the skin of your face. This makes for a field day for acne causing bacteria.

Tip #3: Get The Bacteria Factor Under Control

You should keep your face as clean as possible, using an antibacterial scrub at night is a good idea. Applying tea tree oil has a strong antibiotic effect and will reduce bacteria.

Tip #4: Don’t Fall Victim To Advertising Hype

Studies have suggested that most acne products are a waste of time and money.

Finally, if you avoid oily foods and keep your face clean you are very likely to live an acne-free life, all the best to you!

How To Find an Acne Treatment That Will Work For You

acne treatment is not the same story for everyone. If it was, then there would be one generic way that everyone would know, about…

Each person’s genetics and chemistry make-up is different. This is what makes us unique, although this is something that causes havoc when trying to find the right acne solution.

Even in the same family, acne is not the same for you as it is for somebody else, because some will get severe outbreaks, while others will only have a mild case.

If you develop acne you need to get the right treatment for your type of acne and skin type, because it is very important in the solution to the problem.

The cause of acne is not just becoming a teenager. There are a number of unknowns that play a role in this issue. The general cause of acne is a result of the over production of the bodies hormones, in an effort to become adult. This causes the over secretion of sebum, within the sebaceous glands that will mix with the bacteria and dead skin cells, clogging the pores. When a pore becomes infected, then it reacts as a pimple.

The number one problem for anyone that experiences acne is to; get control over the oily skin. The step after this is to unclog the pores. The medical treatment can vary, depending on the person’s skin type and acne present.

If your skin is very sensitive, then you can’t really pull out the heavy artillery and blast your pimples. The main reason is, most of the heavy duty acne treatments are not conducive to your skin type. This will actually cause your skin to become more blemished, almost as a reaction to the heavy medication.

People with mild skin, need to find mild treatments, natural treatments; if possible. Most of the over-the-counter medications for acne extremes contain chemicals that will certainly irritate the whole acne outbreak, because of a chemical reaction to the medications.

Pay attention to the “skin type” that is listed on the medication for treating acne. This will save you from second guessing yourself, later. If you ever find, that an acne medication in causing more problems, stop using it immediately.

It is important to remove dead skin cells, as this is part of the acne problem. Go with products containing salicylic acid, because it’s great for unclogging the skin pores of dead skin cells.

Also, look into acne treatments that are orally taken, that work to kill bacteria in the skin. It’s the bacterium that helps to infect the pimples and spread the condition. There are products available for oral acne treatments that are available on the market today.

You need to keep up an ongoing treatment that works to fight acne, because it could still be underlying.

Unfortunately, acne is an ongoing fight. As soon as you fight off one battle, more acne can reoccur, and will; if you do not stay on target with your battle against it. Find what works for you, and then use it religiously; even if you see no more signs of it reappearing. This is the only way to stay rid of acne.

Anti aging skin care review

There is a useful source on the web for information and reviews for an anti aging skin care products. Also, with the same goals as the web source, there’s a new movement geared towards safer cosmetics. Certainly, the best anti aging skin care system will be included in that movement.

In the U S, the cosmetic companies can get away with almost anything. The Food and Drug Administration allows them to use almost any ingredient in their cosmetics, if not for a few ones. And apparently, the reason for these few exceptions is a concern about the factory’s labor force.

No one seemed concerned about the effects on the consumer’s health. But, now an online database for cosmetic and anti aging skin care review actually lists the ingredients and rates products according to safety.

All this free service asks you to do is sign up for their newsletter, but because they are a non-profit organization they do accept donations. You can freely search for an anti aging skin care system by name in the database. In addition, you can search by category and products. The products will be listed from safest, to most hazardous.

You’ll be surprised how many products fall in the hazardous category. For instance, did you know that your lipstick may contain lead, a toxic metal that causes brain damage, neurological problems and birth defects?

Thirty three different brands were tested and 61% contained lead. Companies that you may count on for safety, like L’Oreal, Cover Girl and Christian Dior tested positive. This is a very serious health threat, but the cosmetic companies say it is safe.

Some ingredients are not hazardous, they are just the wrong choice for an anti aging skin care system. For example, one anti aging skin care review that I read was for a “lip plumper” that contains paraffin. Paraffin and other mineral oil derivatives interfere with the skin rejuvenation process. That’s a fact I learned from reading a dermatologist’s viewpoint on safe and effective creams and lotions.

The fact that I discovered from a dermatologist’s viewpoint on safe and effective creams and lotions is that paraffin impedes the skin’s renovation process. One of the customers that wrote the anti aging skin care review mentioned that the product was ineffective, but even if it had worked, it would have produced a negative result which would have been dryer, and damaged looking lips.

How about the Avon anti aging skin care system? That has to be safe, right? I looked at the ingredients in Avon’s Ultimate transforming cream. The first thing that I noticed was titanium dioxide, a sunscreen that has recently been listed as possibly carcinogenic.

The anti aging skin care review at Skin Deep rates the Avon anti aging skin care system as extremely hazardous. The compounds included in the product are known to cause developmental and reproductive toxicity. Other ingredients in the product are neurotoxins, endocrine disruptors and irritants.

Avon’s anti aging skin care system is “enhanced” which means that it is easily absorbed into the skin’s layers. This creates new complications, because it can enter the bloodstream more easily than other cosmetics, so there is a bigger risk.

The most important consideration is the realization that Avon’s anti aging skin care system does not seem to have anything in the ingredients that might be beneficial except vitamin A, and that’s not the most beneficial vitamin for the skin. There are a few, although very effective anti aging skin products in the market, but you likely won’t find an “anti aging skin care review” that mentions them, because there is little or no advertizing. Please take the time to learn about them, you’ll be glad you did.
